So today I wwanted to share a time saving hearty filling treat that is nearly all from our Filling Foods® list.
As we are all ramping up with activities for the change in season.. more day light.. more time for outdoor activities.. we
all
can benefit from a great family meal that we can start early in the day and have it awaiting us come dinner time.

Taco Soup
.. time saving Slow Cooker-style
PREP TIME: 15 minutes
COOKING TIME: 4-6 hours in slow cooker
EASE OF PREPARATION: Easy
Servings - Makes 12 servings

.. time saving Slow Cooker-style
Ingredients:
2 lbs Extra Lean Ground Turkey - browned and drained
1 cup Diced Onion
1 can Pinto Beans - drained
1 can Kidney Beans - drained
2 cups Frozen Corn
1 can Mexican Style Stewed Tomatoes
1 can Petite Diced Tomatoes or Crushed Tomatoes
1 can Tomatoes with Chilies
2 sm can Diced Chilies
1 pkg Ranch Seasoning Mix
1 pkg Taco Seasoning Mix
1 Chicken Bouillon Cubes
2 Beef Bouillon Cubes
1 cup Water
10 Black Olives - drained and sliced - optional
10 Green Olives - sliced - optional
Garnish: Fat-Free Cheese, Green Onion, Fat-free Sour Cream (add POINTS* accordingly)
Directions:
Put all that in a crock pot simmer for a few hours until all the flavors and spices melt together.
