Succulent (adjective) - full of juice.. moist and tasty.. having fleshy tissues that conserve moisture. Succulent (noun) - rich
in interest. On the beaches of Puerta Vallarta... my most favorite food experience was the beach vendor that passed our
way several times a day.. with beautiful carved succulent fruits and vegetables, fresh and inviting. What I didn't expect was the
greatest suprise.. and that was the method of serving these casually beachside completed the total
experience. See a few ideas below.. and create your own... talk about healthy "sensual" foods...

Sassy Spicy Succulent Snacks


Sassy Spicy Succulent Cucumbers


Ingredients:

Roughly cut cucumber spears
Sea Salt (lightly to taste)
Freshly Squeezed Lime
Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning (Salt Free)

Directions:

In a plastic cup, stand your cucumber spears upright (1-2 cups of cucumber per cup). Serve by offering a dash of Sea Salt over the cup.. Juice from Lime that freshing squeeze over the top.. and zested with Chipotle Seasoning.. to add
the fullness of flavor and zest of abit of heat... YUM!! Eat with your fingers.. of course.

Sassy Spicy Succulent Watermelon


Ingredients:

Roughly cut watermelon spears
Sea Salt (lightly to taste)
Freshly Squeezed Lime


Directions:

In a plastic cup, stand your watermelon spears upright (1 - 1-1/2 cups of watermelon per cup). Serve by offering a dash of Sea Salt over the cup.. Juice from Lime that freshing squeeze over the top.. You will be surprised at the flavor that
is enhanced by the fresh lime.. YUM!!
Eat with your fingers.. of course.

and Beyond....
.. with your fruits.. consider adding or mixing other melons to the mix.. for added color and flavor.. and what about a few succulent blackberries or raspberries?.. or get artistic and carve a beautiful mango!
