Grilled Brussel Sprouts and Bacon
Ingredients: 14 Brussel Sprouts
2 slices Center Cut Bacon
4 Bamboo skewers, presoak in water
Wish-Bone Salad Spritzers Caesar Delight
Pam Professional High Heat Non stick spray
Directions:
In a skillet cook bacon slices to a limp, not crisp stage. Remove to a paper towel and let cool. In a microwave safe
bowl put brussel sprouts and water, cover. Cook on high until1/2 tender, start with 2 minutes and check for tenderness,
repeat with 1 minute intervals until they are sightly soft to the touch.
But bacon into slices about 1 1/4" long. Skewer brussel sprout, then bacon alternating for a total 3 or 4 brussel sprouts per skewer.
Spray cooking spray lightly on a paper towel, and wipe grill area where you will be cooking. Preheat grill.
Place skewers on heated grill. Cool until lightly grilled turning to achieve both sides evenly grilled. Remove from grill
and lightly spray with salad spritzer. Serve immediately while hot.
