Grilled Asparagus
If you haven't grilled your fresh asparagus before, you are missing a wonderful treat. The added dimension of
flavor will be a great suprise. The calories in fresh asparagus is under 20 for a 1/4 of a pound, and has zero fat grams and
approximately 2 grams of fiber. Virtually a "free" filling food. The vinaigrette is one that we love to use here at TMG
to count as one of our daily healthy oils. Outdoor cooking will offer a great opportunity to broaden your menu horizons..

Spring Celebrations
Grilled Asparagus
Ingredients:
1 pound Fresh Asparagus, cleaned
1/2 cup *TMG Vinaigrette
*Vinaigrette
4 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoon non-seasoned rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoon Temecula Pomegranate Balsamic
2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper
Directions:
Use a "vegetable screen" on your grill (to keep the spears from falling through) Heat grill to a medium to high temp (approximately 350 degrees). Lay the asparagus direct and evenly spread across the heated "screen". Let them grill
for 5 or 6 minutes, baste with vinaigrette. With tongs you will want to turn or roll the aparagus to get them grilled on
both sides. Repeat basting on second side. Serve right from the grill on a serving platter. Salt and Pepper to taste.
