Feeling perky today, the thought of celebrating this year Poolside in Palm Springs.. we plan to
start our Thanksgiving morning with a Cranberry Mimosa with friends, and then dine
late afternoon with family poolside in their backyard.
What's the TWIST? That is my reminder to add some extra activity to my day in order to burn a few extra
calories.. for maybe an extra mimosa!! So go ahead,, Do the TWIST!!

Cranberry Orange 'n Apricot Relish

Ingredients:

12 oz cranberries, fresh
1 medium orange, peeled and cut into chunks
1 cup dried apricots, chopped
1 cup sugar
1 piece ginger root, fresh, peeled, chopped
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

Put cranberries, orange, apricot, sugar, ginger and cinnamon in a food processor. Pulse until chopped finely. Scrape into serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

Cranberry Mimosa

3-4 oz Ocean Spray Diet Cranberry Juice
3-4 oz Tropicana Some Pulp Light' N Healthy Orange Juice
2-3 oz Champagne
ice
optional garnish: cranberries to float, orange twist, and an umbrella straw!


In flute or wine glass
over ice, add champagne, cranberry juice, and orange juice. Garnish with cranberry float, and orange twist, and an umbrella straw!!
