Brussel Sprouts w/ Bacon & Onion
Ingredients:
1 pound brussel sprouts
1 tsp olive oil
1 Tbls Hormel Premium Real Crumbled Bacon
1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
optional garnish: lemon zest
Directions:
Microwave brussel sprouts, covered in a small bowl in two tablespoons of water on full power, for 2 1/2 minute intervals. After 2
times, cut one open to see if it is tender. May repeat for one more time. Drain the water.
In skillet on medium high, saute with olive oil the onion, until soft or transluscent. Add brussel sprouts and saute until warm and coated with bacon, onion mixture. Serve warm. Garnish with lemon zest.
